a) Amaria Hydropower Project

BAO & Fils assisted the Amaria Hydropower project in the framework of the financing and the implementation of a PPP project between the state of Guinea and China International Water and Electric Corporation, for the construction and operation of hydroelectric dam with a capacity of 300-450 MW in the Boke region.

b) Huaneng- Project Lantsnang

We advised the purchaser in the framework of the acquisition of a controlling stake in an SPV which holds a hydropower station with a capacity of 300 MW in the Republic of Guinea.

Infrastructures:

a) SPIC railways

BAO & Fils advised SPIC Aluminium and Power Investment Co Ltd. in the phase 2 of Guinea corridor in the Simandou Project. This phase involved the construction of railways, ports, roads and other related infrastructures.

b) Diamond Cement Guinea SA

We advised the lenders for the financing of USD$ 100 million, construction, equipping and operation of a cement plant in Sougueta.
